I will go to this place a million times. the flavor was incredible. the portion size was very generous.

Seasoned Vegetables - The Big Plate- was extremely bland and soggy. Musubi was burned beyond recognition. Protein portions are deceptively small, but on a large bed of rice to look bigger. The Huli Huli chicken was okay, but the Pork and mac salad are mediocre (and thats being generous). Waste of $70 for 2 plates and 2 musubi.

Do I recommend the food? Oh it's always incredible, absolutely! Do I recommend getting a "plate"? No way; it's expensive and mostly rice! If you're scrolling reviews and see all the valid portion complaints do it my way; for less than the cost of a "Mixed Plate Classic" just get 1/2lb Honolulu Chicken and a large Macaroni Salad then make rice at home. I order from Hawaiian Bros a LOT and always do it this way because I want as much of this delicious food as I can get for my money instead of paying for the rice. The 1lb versions are great for 2-3 people to split or you can each get 1/2lbs that you want for the same price.
I can also tell you from personal experience that every meat option here is incredible; I've loved them all but the Honolulu Chicken is my go-to because I love garlic. The macaroni salad is honestly the best I've ever had, authentic miracle whip flavor with balanced, delicious seasoning and properly-cooked macaroni that I always crave.
Try it, just avoid the plates!

Best restaurant. Huli Huli Chicken The Big Plate is amazing. Plenty of food to fill you up and leave you with delicious leftovers the next day. In a world where food is so expensive this food is worth every single penny. I've started trying to order here weekly and look forward to it every time.

One of my favorite restaurants. The huli huli chicken and mac salad is to die for. The Mac salad is some of the best I've had. The Seasoned Vegetables were amazing with a little kick. Everything was divine. I recommend getting the bigger portion so that you have leftovers for the next day it's sooo good.
