A great authentic Japanese restaurant, which is rare in this part of Orange County. Excellent taste and value (huge portion for the Mabo Bowl.) Very pleased they finally added doordash service.

not mind blowing.. but actual rating is 3.5 stars. Karaage could be crispier, feels like they don't use the batter that other Japanese restaurants use.
Fried Rice was not as good as I remembered it. Huge portions though

gomen has been my favorite ramen place for years. I ordered the Tonkotsu Miso Chashu with double chasu for delivery tonight bc I'm sick but there's only 3 pieces

Been eating here since around 2013,this place has come miles since then and is terrific every time.Always get the Tonkotsu Soy Sauce Ramen and Fried Rice,gotta dunk the rice in the broth

The ramen wasn't seasoned well at all, which is surprising because we ordered salt ramen, and it tasted as if no salt was added. Sadly, the BBQ chicken was extremely dried out, and the fried tempura side for the ramen was one large disk of what looked like frozen veggies fried into a patty shape. I saw good reviews, so I thought it would be very tasty but was disappointed when no flavor came through on the ramens. Maybe it's different if you dine in?
