"So far my experience with this restaurant has been extremely positive, I have visited in person but mainly ordered through delivery services. Easily the best breakfast place in Fort McMurray without a contest in my opinion, the Cora-style poutine has extreme value for how much you are given. Almost every single order I have ordered the Jo Construction and it has been great every time. Make sure to order it with white bread though, I once ordered it with a bagel instead of regular bread and it didn't match with the meal very well. "I normally do not leave reviews, but after giving this restaurant a second chance, I feel the experience deserves an honest one.
I ordered the clubhouse twice because after my first complaint, I was told the restaurant owner was not there at the time and that the concern would be brought up. That gave me the impression the first sandwich may not have been up to standard, so I decided to order again and continue supporting a local business.
Unfortunately, the second sandwich was basically the same. The issue was not that there was “nothing” on the sandwich, but that the toppings and fillings were extremely sparse and unevenly distributed throughout. A clubhouse should have enough filling that you actually taste the ingredients in each bite, not sections that are mostly bread and lettuce.
What disappointed me most was the response afterward. Instead of acknowledging the concern, I was given multiple excuses including DoorDash pricing, being told I should come into the restaurant if I want better value, tomato sizes fluctuating, and being told customers dining in are happy with the sandwich.
DoorDash pricing has nothing to do with the actual quality or assembly of the sandwich. If a tomato slice is too small for the sandwich, you add another slice. That is part of making a properly balanced sandwich. And honestly, I find it hard to believe most customers would be happy receiving the exact sandwich I received. If that sandwich had been shown as the menu photo, I personally would not have ordered it.
This review is not being left to attack a local business. It is simply honest feedback after two very similar experiences and a response that came across more dismissive than understanding."

The Buy One, Get One Free offer was only for the pasta. We expected two regular pasta meals, but both arrived in what appeared to be Kids Meal containers instead of the regular full-size containers we always receive. The portions were incredibly small, and the difference was obvious.
The salmon wasn’t part of the promotion, but the salmon portions were also much smaller than usual. The salmon was dry and didn’t taste as fresh or as good as it normally does. Unfortunately, we didn’t enjoy the meal and ended up throwing most of it away.
The only item we really enjoyed was the potatoes. They were fresh, well cooked, and tasted great.
I appreciate that DoorDash refunded almost $19 from our nearly $60 order, but this review isn’t about the money. I would much rather have received the meal we paid for. If a Buy One, Get One Free promotion means serving much smaller portions, I’d rather there be no promotion at all. I would gladly pay full price for the regular quality and portions we’ve always received.
