"This was pretty disappointing. The pizza was so wet that you couldn't hold a slice in your hard---it would just flop over and stuff would start sliding off. There was sauce thrown on top of all the toppings which felt strange. I am under no delusion that what I get is ever going to look exactly like the photo but I'm thinking they somehow forgot the sauce and then threw it on top as an afterthought because sauce on top isn't this establishment's schtick per their photos like some other Pittsburgh spots. The Buffalo breadsticks didn't have any flavor, which again was puzzling. I ended up putting my own Buffalo sauce and cheese on them at home to help out the situation. I can't imagine I would order again."

"Been ordering from Dannys on 51 for 35 yrs. Bethel is the OG location but I feel like 51 had better hoagies. Might be that they just didnt clean their ovens that often which added flavor. Still, the Half Famous Italian is famous for a reason and best in the city. The Meatball and Ricotta Pizza was incredible."
"Not the taste and quality that I've been used to at Danny's. The hoagie was burnt. Both the hoagie and pizza were hard the pizza crumbled when I taped it on a paper plate and both items were cold as if they were made several hours ago and sat out. I would never expect delivery to be hot as if I was eating it in the restaurant but it was not in the least bit warm.
I will say this definitely been a one off situation. Everytime I've ordered take out or pick up I have really enjoyed it.
I would still absolutely recommend as their food is delicious, today was an exception."

"I requested a pizza with pepperoni. They had an option to remove the chilli flakes. I've ordered two times and both times they read it and followed the instructions. I will definitely order from here again. The sauce was great."
"The Caprese Panini was packaged in aluminum foil, and then a paper wrapper, and the paper wrapper was soaked through with balsamic and leaking into the rest of the bag. The Panini itself was sopping wet. Also, the Panini is pictured with fries, but does not come with them.
As for the arugula salad, there was no arugula in it. It was entirely spinach.
Do not recommend and do not know why they have such a good rating."
