"The pork chop was very good. But definitely not what I expected based on the photo and description. It came breaded and fried. And very spicy. Which I love but not what I thought I was ordering. The picture and description sounds more like a roasted pork chop that's crispy from the roast not crispy from being breaded and fried. And what they mean by fresh herbs are green onion, garlic, and kung pao chili. Again I loved it. Just think people deserve transparency especially when spending $24 a plate. Not much of a fan of the price. A bit too pricy for a pork dish. I probably won't order it again based on the price alone. But if you want breaded and fried pork chops at least now you know what you're ordering. The chow mein is very basic, and so not worth $22!! The hot sour soup is very good. But I ordered it a couple nights ago and it was so good. Price is somewhat decent on this and you get a good amount. However, I ordered it tonight and it's ok but not as good two nights ago. It's different and that makes me disappointed cause when I find a place that makes a good hot sour soup I tend to return a lot for it. "Oh my god, not gonna lie.. I haven't had chinese food this good since I was a kid. The place I used to go to as a kid closed and it was so hard to find another alternative. I got the three entrees, with fried rice and it was so good! Orange chicken, broccoli beef and the beef with greens is so bomb. "I always order the Black Jelly (16oz) and Taho. The flavors bring me right back to growing up and eating ChowKing in San Diego and Manila. I also love the Meaty Asado Siopao (1pc) and Chicken Mami - it's the noodles! I like the thin stringy ones in a good garlicky soup.

The broth was really nice and everything tasted good. I do wish there was more daikon and bok choy, but it was fine as is. I also added a little bit of chili oil which took it to the next level. I used to order from YGF because I liked their malatang . It was tasty and affordable. But lately, the quality has really gone downhill. I paid $18 and got three pieces of beef, one slice of potato, two bok choy, three tiny pieces of Chinese cabbage, two pieces of tofu, one shrimp, and mostly noodles. The sauce they were in was more of regular mild vinegar soy flavor just topped with a little chili oil. The filling was proportionate to the size of dumpling however they lacked flavor and could have used some salt or msg. The 2. Chicken Wings were not tender and was hard to get off the bone and the skin was almost inedible and could benefit from a longer cook time or prior marinating/tenderizing. The way that it was packaged did not allow the steam to vent which made the crispy skin soggy. They were also flavorless by themselves. The onion, garlic and jalapeño topping was the only thing that saved this dish. Unfortunately I will not be ordering again."

"If you can get past the name of this place, I highly recommend it! Just know that this is NOT Texas BBQ and as far as I can tell, the meat's not even barbecued but grilled.
