These were simply the best rice and beans that i've ever had. It is a very special thing when a restaurant is able to take a mundane dish that you may have had thousands of times and infuse such flavor and delicacy upon it that you look at it with new eyes. I’m still thinking about how good this meal was. The quality of the Birria Quesadilla and the perfectly melted cheese really stands out. It’s a huge portion that easily makes for a full, hearty meal. The taste of the savory consommé paired with the fresh pico de gallo and sour cream was a perfect balance. This is officially a new favorite, and I’ll definitely be ordering it again!

The tacos were soggy and cold I couldn't even eat them.
The rice was super cold and mushy.
The cheese had good taste, but was cold and clumpy.
The chips were great, and the bonus was the sour cream came in big containers.
$35 in the trash...

Tried La Cocina for the first time tonight. We got the *NEW* Birria Tacos , Tacos Grill , and Rice . The birria was flavorful, but if you're used to it the original way, it lacks a bit. Definitely needed cucumber and radish to complete it. The tacos were pretty plain, but still good. Rice was perfectly seasoned and complimented everything. The chips were fresh and light, but the salsa roja was pretty bland. For the area and the intended consumers, it was great. If you're used to Mexican food or just Hispanic/Latino food in general, it was okay. Worth the price. Will be coming back.

The best burrito ever. It's huge it's definitely your money worth! I always get this burrito and definitely would keep buying it.
