The chicken in the Rotisserie Chicken Plate was juicy and flavorful. It paired perfect with the green sauce. The portions were perfect for a full meal, and the food was fresh. The sweet cornbread was smaller than I anticipated, but I would gladly order this all again.

I ordered food from here while I was in town for a concert back in Nov. 2024. It's almost 3 months later and I'm still thinking about the best Half Fried Sweet Plantains I've ever had in my life and that incredible green sauce. I live in PA and I can't find anything CLOSE. Will definitely eat there anytime I am in Minneapolis, and recommend to everyone.

the Smothered Pulled Chicken Plate is one of my absolute favorite comfort meals. it travels well and literally never misses in terms of flavor! I can get a couple meals out of the portion size as well if I'm able to stop myself from shoveling it all into my mouth on the first round. the Unsweetened Iced Tea is delicious and perfectly lemony, too. brasa will always be a go-to for me.

Individual items all together can be a little pricey but overall the flavor is nice. I've been searching for some decent collard greens, Mac, fish fry, etc. all southern food and this place is in my top 3 after looking in the Minneapolis area for a little under a year now. The mac is a loose, creamy type which I don't usually like but I was happily surprised. The creamy spinach wasn't super creamy but the flavor was great, I wouldn't consider it spicy at all though. I'll definitely order here again when I want a home cooked meal without the work. The Fish Bowl was delicious and not sloppy.
