Ordered the Bluejay, the chocolate shake, and the onion rings. Dear Lord have mercy. This hamburger is HUGE! And so damn good! The chocolate Shake was also very good and hit the spot for my craving. I love that when you order the onion rings you get ketchup PLUS Ranch (or blue cheese) for dipping.

Every San Diegan knows this place. This is like the OG spot right here which you can only try in SD. Giant burgers, good portions and everything is good and fresh. Yes it's little bit priced but st the cost of one of the most big burgers you see in your live(it never fully fits my mouth)

Let me tell you something—Hodad’s DELIVERED. Not just my food, but my joy today.
I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and baby, when I opened that wrapper, it looked like a cozy blanket of bacon had been lovingly tucked over my burger. Not one sad little strip—nah, this was bacon in every single bite, just how God intended. Juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly.
And the chili cheese fries? Whew. Rich, cheesy, seasoned, and still held up during delivery. AND everything came individually wrapped like they knew I was special. I felt seen, respected, and fed.
To top it off, I had a headache before I ate—but once that burger hit my soul? Pain GONE. That’s not food, that’s therapy.
Hodad’s, you’ve officially been added to my “comfort food emergency contact” list. Thank you for being THAT burger spot.

This single cheeseburger was fabulous! It was the perfect burger. Will order again (not too soon, tho' lol). Eyes were bigger than appetite for the excellent fries ... soft and cooked just the way I like them. Both were large size, but I managed to eat the entire burger, which I normally am unable to do. Only tasted the fries, but again, they were cooked to perfection. Don't hesitate and order from here, you won't be disappointed!
