I ordered the pernil with rice with gandulas, and it was all yellow rice, maybe 6 gandulas... NOT the usual way I've had it in the past. The beef empanadas/pastellillos were excellent. I will continue to eat/ order from here.

The portions of the mains were incredibly small. The pork was so dry. The chicken was juicy and very good. The sides were pretty good too. Not sure I would order again but maybe I would try something different.

I would have absolutely given 5 stars as far as the taste of the food. Taste and temperature of the food was right on. Two minor issues however; 1. The Flan was not in the right type of packaging and all of the syrup for both Flans leaked completely in the bag. The Flan tasted great but would have been better if the syrup was on them. 2. The Ropa Vieja was not Ropa Vieja, it was Carne Guisada (Beef Stew). Again the taste was great and I ate it, but it was not what the menu said. I will certainly order again and I do have to stress, being Hispanic, that the taste of the food was absolutely authentic.

Been a while since I've ordered from here but as usual food is good. First time I've gotten the potato salad the apples were a random addition but not bad. The carne fritas are my usual go to from here. Also for the arroz con gandules and tostones everything was good
