• 2/12/24I can't believe how good this place is! We don't have enough food places like this down here. I got The The Waldo sandwich combo Memphis Style with Coleslaw and fried okra, and believe you, me it was the BEST thing I've had in a while for a legit BBQ place around here. That Mason Jar Cheesecake, though is so rich and creamy, there's no way anyone who likes rich sweets won't love it. 🤤 It might be a bit pricy here on door dash, but holy cow is it worth it. 1 million outta 10. will order here again when I'm in the area.

• 7/15/25The food is amazing! The BBQ Nachos with chicken are delicious, and definitely a large enough portion to share. We got the Super Sampler with chicken, brisket, and ribs. The Mac n Cheese and coleslaw are perfect! The Mac n Cheese is smokey and the coleslaw is creamy. We will definitely be ordering from Waldo's again!

• 8/16/24Bayou Catfish portion was disappointing and the portion size on the side of spicy fries was even more disappointing. The crust/breading on the catfish was thin and never stood a chance against the 10 minute stint in a takeout container.
Riblets were okay but probably won't order again when I can just get ribs for pretty much the same price. The side of cornbread was so, so dry and sad.
Sliced Juicy Brisket was fatty and had decent smoke to it but was somehow bland and the fat hadn't rendered long enough so there were still thick white globs/strands of fat.
Award-Winning Peach Cobbler and Old-fashioned Bread Pudding were... interesting. The cobbler tasted like boxed white birthday cake mix and gave us sugar burn almost immediately. The bread pudding tasted like they soaked a cinnamon raisin loaf in milk and topped it with frosting.
Texas Hot Link was probably the best seasoned and had snappy skin but it was still somehow floppy and the meat too finely ground.
Sauces were all mid.

• 10/1/25In fairness, I ordered my meal at 6:30,it was ready 10 minutes later but I didn't eat it until 8 pm because of the distance I drove. Perhaps had I eaten it earlier it may have tasted better. But it was packaged well in air tight containers.
I had the 1/3 pound chicken skillet, with corn bread and potato wedges. The corn bread was dry around the edges, but okay flavor wise. But I wouldn't purchase it again. The potato wedges were too greasy for me. The shredded chicken was delicious once I put their BBQ sauce on. I also ordered the coleslaw that was very good. The Cowboy Beans were good, but a bit too spicy for me. The Award-Winning Peach Cobbler was good but unlike any other cobbler I've had. Kind of doughy like cake with peaches in it. Customer service was good. But I'm sorry, I just didn't feel it was worth the over $40 I spent.

• 10/3/23The pulled pork tasted marvelous, as usual, But it was a touch dry today. yet they seemed to give us twice the amount we always order. The potato chips are usually are 4 slices of potatoes from heaven . I guess today was their worst food day of the last few decades.
