the donkatsu was perfect, well cooked and yet very juicy, the sauce that came with it was DELICIOUS. the seaweed salad isn't something I'd eat again, I tried it and turns out I'm not a fan of seaweed salad.
the takoyaki was great, super fluffy and soft and the octopus was perfectly cooked!
the rice that came with my meal was an amazing side.
Overall, extremely delicious portions were very generous and the price was very affordable!
I'd order from So Poong again!

Disappointed because I have been eating at this restaurant for years and never found the food greasy or not to my taste. Ordering-in was a different story!
The 83. Mandu frit/ Dumplings were very greasy and the outsides were underdone.
The 84. Rouleaux imperiaux / Imperial Rolls , at $9, were very poor value - 5 tiny pieces and with no sauce provided.
The main dish ,23. Jaeyook had a 100% satisfaction score. It was good, but not special.
Everything was fresh, but portions were inadequate, especially the included Miso Soup, filling about 1/3 of the already very small container.
I would eat there again, but not order in.

The appetizers were encouraging- very nicely spiced and with generous fillings, especially the Imperial Roll.
After that the whole thing fell apart.
The Seafood Udon Noodle dish consisted of a mess of noodles drowned in some unidentifiable sauce. The amount of seafood in this dish was so skimpy it could be counted. There were four shrimp and one mussel.
My husband's Boeuf Riz Frit (#36) comprised a heaping portion of fried rice under which were hidden four pieces of unremarkable beef.
This restaurant was a huge disappointment. We didn't even save the leftover noodles and rice. We composted them.
Do not waste your money on this restaurant.

The 72. Kimchi Jeon always hits. It's never a fail. It's thick, filling and not too spicy. The 31. Bibimbap is honestly the best I've ever had. No need for the gochujang, it just slaps.
