I was really disappointed with my order. I ordered the Super Tortilla Burger, but I'm still trying to figure out what was "super" about it. It was basically a huge tortilla smothered in red chile with a tiny burger inside. The portion of the meat was extremely small compared to the oversized tortilla, making it feel very unbalanced and not worth the price. The photos and description led me to expect something much more substantial. Unfortunately, this meal did not meet my expectations, and I wouldn't order it again.

Tomasita's has been a Santa Fe staple for a long time. When guests come to town, we will often take them there. More affordable than The Shed, but just as good, and a more pleasant environment than The Pantry, but extremely similar cuisine. Vastly superior to Maria's and certainly comparable to La Choza. I won't say it's my favorite New Mexican cuisine, I tend to favor Plaza Southside, but Tomasita's is very, very consistent.

Go to is the New Mexican Steak Platter. An amazing flavorful dish and the steak is always perfectly cooked to order. Occasionally I'll add a ground beef taco on the side or the Bowl Menudo.

The best Carne Adovada in Santa Fe (in my humble opinion. Sopapillas are amazing too, and they include both honey butter and honey packets. Yum yum!
