Best Puerto Rican restaurant I found so far, I had alcapurrias and empanadas, they were good, just a bit oily but good, please keep making authentic Puerto Rican Food

I remember trying this place a while back, a couple years ago- I believe when they just opened. I remembered getting their chicken Sopa de pollo / Chicken Soup and thinking it was so yummy. That missed the mark this time unfortunately. I also got 🔥2x1 Empanadas ( Beef, Chicken or Cheese ) the chicken flavor, I recall that being good last time too and I’m not usually a chicken empanada person, I only got it last time because they didn’t have beef at the time. This time, thankfully it was too good but unfortunately the best out of everything I ordered. I also ordered their beef Carnes de res guisada/ Stewed beef with arroz gandules, they give tons of rice and not much stew. It’s okay. I guess it does the job, but just overall really missed the mark for me.

Do not order the cod fritters, or empanadas from here. The codfritters were so flat with a little to no fish in them just a pancake, of flat gease. The empanadas both chicken and beef were also super greasyand dry unflavored meat. The pink beans came with 3/4 of liquid and about15 beans! Not worth it.

I have ordered from this establishment many times each time getting worse. The prices are higher, but the portions are smaller. The cassava that's being used for the pasteles and the acapurria have the consistency of paste and scant amount of filling. don't know what the issue is, but I will not be ordering again a restaurant that had a little regard for it's customers will not be receiving my support

The pastel was very extremely bland. It tasted like it was in the water forever. The mofongo was over seasoned with garlic and beans were horrible. They had no flavor and tasted like they were straight from a can. Horrible taste. The only thing good was the flan.
