I love the food from Southern Comfort it tastes good every time we get it. You get what you pay for to be full after eating. I love the fried catfish hard and love the heck out of those hush puppies. We usually eat there 2x a week and sometimes more just like we did before Covid. I like larger hush puppies my only complaint.

From a lifelong resident of Castro Valley, SoCo is in my opinion by far the best place to get a quick meal with the most unique and flavorful menu. The food is amazing and a great value when you consider the consistently high quality. It seems like the staff takes a lot of pride in how the food is prepared and they give outstanding customer service. The entire menu is spectacular, but my favorites are the Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich, who'dat shrimp with crab fries, and chicken and sausage jambalaya.

I ordered the 50/50. The Shrimp were smaller than I thought they should be. Plus, there were 3 pieces of Cat Fish, one of them had big bones in it and the meat inside mushy/real soft. It didn't even taste like the other 2 pieces.For $20.00 I expected pieces to be better size wise.

The Jambalaya was not very good. extremely dry, not spicy, hardly any meat, and a very small portion size for the price. Definitely not made by someone from Louisiana. Ordered for delivery to a hotel and came with no utensils. Not even a small piece of bread came with the

I just wish you would accept special accomodations. I couldn't eat my crabfries with all that mayo. Definitely ordering again. The portion size was great and it was worth the money. The fish was fried perfectly and the shrimp was delicious. Mac & cheese was good as well.
