Food was great as usual. Steak was cooked to my request, and potato was cooked perfectly.

Nothing like spending nearly $40 on a grilled chicken salad and fries, only to be given fries from last Fridaynand the worlds smallest chicken breast. The owners shold go have a meal at Live Oak and recalibrate. Becks prime used to be expensive, but good. Now it's just expensive.

I've been going to Becks prime most of my life. I don't remember one time I ever got a bad meal. Their food is delicious. Portions are huge. Everything is fresh and everyone always has a smile on their face. It is truly a Houston treasure. I wish I could eat there for breakfast lunch and dinner every day.

I remember many wonderful meals from Beck's Prime over the years. This was not one of them. In fact, it was dreadful.
At least one-third of the ribeye was cold, white lumps of fat. I was appalled. Worse still, the provenance of the potato was highly questionable. When was it cooked? How many days ago? Or was it under- cooked? It was hard and the lumps nearly impossible to subdue. There was very little sour cream; the chives were hardly there. The cheese was adequate in quantity, but not quite melted. Mixing up these elements was a losing proposition.
What a huge waste of money and anticipation. Not a mistake I'll repeat.

Usually one of the best, but not today. Burger buns were burnt and had pieces missing - assumably they pulled off the most burnt parts. Other burger was not well done and had tons of onions even though onions were not requested. A lot of money spent for this disappointing meal. Ugh
