Abyssinia is my favorite Ethiopian restaurant in NYC and I've tried many! Their Abyssinia Veggie Combo is incredible, full of flavor, a wonderful mix of veggies, and is consistent in it's quality. A must try.

I got the Kifto and Meat Combo. They let me customize my veggies for both. They give plenty of Injera. Food was delicious! Very authentic and amazing portion size.!

Meat Combo is a winner every time!! A great diversity of textures and flavors!! The lentils and cabbage are amazing!! The best East African food in NYC!! Trust me, I've done my homework!!

Got the Abyssinia Meat Combo. I've eaten at dozens of Ethiopian restaurants in NYC and other cities. This is literally the WORST one I've ever eaten at. The lentils weren't cooked. All of the meat dishes were flavorless and totally disgusting. Even their injera (bread) lacked any flavor, even though injera is normally a highlight of an Ethiopian meal. Ethiopian dishes normally pack a flavor punch. These had no flavor at all. A complete waste of money. I order in 6 out of 7 days/week and have been doing that for years. I've NEVER written a food review before. That's how bad this was. It inspired me to write about it. They should be ashamed they charge people money for this. I would not eat it in the future if they paid me to. And this is coming from someone who normally considers Ethiopian one of my favorite types of cuisine.

Everything was amazing! I got the Beef Awaze Tibs and tbe Beef Meat Sambusa. I could smell how good it was out of the bag and it did not lie. Definitely would order again and itsmore than enough to split
