Finally found a real Chinese restaurant in the suburbs. Food was amazing. The rice and egg rolls reminded me of Hong Kong restaurant I grew up with in the 90s. My husband is from New York and he always missed the food from there and he loved it. Definitely will order again

Hate to leave bad reviews but their beef chop suey just isn't good. 80%+ of their beef is inedible. Just fatty to the point of can't even chew it. Like biting into it feels like biting into an eraser but...harder? The sauce also tastes nothing like any other beef chop suey sauce I've had. It was strangely thick, almost gooey at first. And just had an odd tang to it. Mixing with rice helped but it wouldn't have been edible otherwise.
I will say the vegetables were cooked well and you got a good amount. It also came with a pop and an egg roll for the lunch special for a really good price.
I wish the the meat could have been edible and the sauce was better. Maybe just an off day? Never experienced that before with a Chinese restaurant. This is my first time ordering here.
Sorry to add photos of partially chewed food but those are just some of the pieces I tried to eat and literally couldn't chew.

I ordered bbq pork lo mein and an egg roll. The lo mein had way more pork than noodles and I ordered it because I wanted noodles. It's a noodle dish. The egg roll had almost no flavor other than peanut butter. I'll never order from here again

All of the food was fried so hard I had to break away extra dough on the crab Rangoon and wantons so could eat the stuffing. The fried shrimp was so hard I couldn't eat them. The shrimp was dry and hard.

Sesame Chicken was average. If you are from Elgin then I suggest to try the other, high-rated restaurant that has better tasting food (in my opinion) and also cheaper.
