• 9/12/21Have use Shanghai for many years. When I worked in Lake Forest we were eating there at least once a week. Their food and service are always on top and to reasonable prices.
I love their Garlic chicken and Mongolian beef but anything on their menu is great.

• 4/2/23I have always ordered from this restaurant, the House Special Egg Foo young is always amazing and good portion size. Always gave it restaurant 5 stars in the past.Today I ordered honey glazed walnut shrimp and was very disappointed with the portion size. 10 shrimp for 26.99?? and no honey taste just mayonnaise taste. I also ordered Mongolian beef and the portion size was very small at 19.79?? Disappointed with this as well. Its unfortunate!

• 5/13/2454. Garlic Shrimp had maybe 8 pieces and not worth the price of 21.99 and- 25. Mongolian Beef was a fraction of what we usually get. We also only get 1 thing of white rice and with all that we ordered you think there would be another complimentary order. We've ordered here often, but think they're portions are getting skimp for the price.

• 5/10/26It was Ok. The vegetables were a little undercooked, they were kinda raw still. The food was tasty overall anyway, but there was also hardly any chicken on the chicken and vegetables. The sauce was light too, not very much sauce.

• 1/31/23I had high hopes for this long standing business as I had heard decent things abouttheir food. We ordered on New Years eve, as is our tradition for Chinese take out for the past 10 years. Sad to say it was one of the worst meals I've ever had. We ordered mu shu pork which was okay, orange chicken was dry, Special fried rice was tasteless, hot and sour soup was just meh...nothing stood out and was very unremarkable, but everything was more expensive. Sadly, we,will not be returning.
