I've ordered long-distance mother's Day breakfasts for my mum from here, but I've never ordered it for myself. And, honestly, if I had gone by appearance alone I would not have taken a single bite (definitely something for them to work on).
BUT I was too hungry not to at least try it... and I'm very glad! Contrary to appearance, the whole thing was absolutely delicious!
Everything was already so well-cooked and flavourful that I didn't need any condiments. It was a very tasty Traditional Breakfast !
The servings were generous too. Though you can usually make 2 meals out of a full breakfast, I actually made 3 out of this one.
Anyway, great breakfast, no regrets. I'll order again - for mother's Day and for myself.

Wow, delicious food! The Egg Salad Croissant had the best croissant I think I'v ever tasted. I've heard online French foodies describing the perfect croissant -- soft/fluffy centre with the most delicately crispy outside... Owl's is exactly that. The egg salad was a generous portion and it tasted fresh. The breakfast panini was just as delicious and the fruit sides were a nice touch (as you can see from the photos). Both sandwiches were on the larger side of what's typical for coffee shop/Cafe portions.

Ordered a long distance (Vancouver sender, Chemainus recipient) birthday breakfast for my mum and added a little note to bakery that it was for her birthday, so whatever they could do to make it special would be awesome. They not only sent her a super generous serving of their delicious (Holy Veggie Bowl ) breakfast, they also added in a little something extra as a Happy Birthday from them as well. Above and beyond in both quantity and quality.

Fresh, quality ingredients, well-cooked, and dolled out in generous serving sizes; with a bit of fresh fruit on the side to top it off.
