Puerto Viejo is a Dominican bistro in Brooklyn that has been open since 1986. The aroma of our delectable Dominican food will meet you as you…
Very impressed with the Pollo Guisado tasty and the rice was so soft. Chicken Empanada also was little smaller but packed a punch crisp edges and lots of flavor. The hot sauce it also comes with is banging.

Food is a expensive but portions are generous, and the taste is unbeatable. Best Dominican food I've had in Brooklyn altogether. I can't wait to return here with my partner; the interior had a great vibe too

This restaurant consistently takes too long to prepare orders. My dasher had to leave the restaurant because they took so long this time. Delivered 30 minutes past the original delivery estimate. Portions are smaller than other Dominican restaurants, but more expensive. The pernil was ok but not great. Yucca fries were fine.
