Food was very fresh and delicious! The greens were flavorful and tender, and the macaroni and cheese tasted homemade like you ate at family's house. The Banana Pudding always does it for me! The 4pc Fried Chicken (Breast, Leg, Wing, Thigh) was very filling and not salty which I enjoyed.

We know that whatever we order it is gonna to have that Down home flavor. Each item on the menu is exceptional and will bring memories of a Thanksgiving dinner to mind. After a long day and family members who want my cooking can be persuaded to order from smokehouse, they have to push away from the table. The desserts are great, but smokehouse put their feet in their Candi yams and there macaroni and cheese. All I have to say is this is good eating. Try it I'm sure you'll find it enjoyable and satisfying. Great Cooks

I've been ordering the Salmon - D and hope the review gets good attention from other restaurants. I want to go on record to state that the macaroni and cheese is best in app. Starters, and all other restaurants need to get their mac and cheese from Southern Smokehouse or just take it off your menu all together. The Salmon Salmon - D is exceptional too.

The BBQ Beef Ribs were very meaty and tender. The ribs were a little more sauce than I prefer, but the sauce is good though. The turnip- mustard greens mix were perfectly cooked and seasoned well. The spaghetti was also good and flavorful and cooked to a perfect al dente. The cornbread muffin wasn't too sweet like other restaurants, which I really appreciated as it sopped up the pot liquor like a Brawny paper towel.
Sweet Potato Pie was a little darker than I normally like, but was an ample serving size. At first bite, the cinnamon,nutmeg, and cloves offer a bouquet of flavors all wrapped up in flaky, light crust that took me back to my Mom's kitchen.
This is my second order and I will most definitely be ordering again!!
