Best Chicken Tikka Masala ive had since my go-to spot closed 10+ years ago. Flavor is perfect and portions are enough for 2 small meals or one if super hungry. Will come back... weekly.

This is hands down the best Indian food restaurant in North County. Maybe all San Diego. The meats are cooked perfectly and the dynamic use of spices in each dish are perfectly executed. The ingredients are clean and fresh. Unlike many other Indian restaurants, the curries and other dishes are not drowning in ghee/oil or glowing with food coloring. Some of our favorites here are the Chicken Tikka Masala, lamb Rogan Josh, Lamb Saag, and Palak Paneer (Saag) and Daal Dal Shorba Soup

Food flavor was good but very salty this time. All that ate it agreed that it was heavily salty and didn't return for 2nds. Even the samosa, which was nice and crispy was salty. We ordered the Lamb Rogan Josh & Vindaloo (Very Tangy Tomato Sauce) with chicken and vegetarian samosa.

Butter chicken was not butter chicken. 2 small pieces of chicken in the whole thing. Not good.
Garlic naan was plain and old. Overall really poor.

My favourite Indian in San Diego so far. Really enjoyed the Palak Paneer (Saag)ak Paneer (Saag), Garlic Naan, Raita (Indian Yogurt), and Tandoori Chicken. . It's great to be able to select the heat level of each entree and the raita was nice and thick . I look forward to trying more dishes from Royal India .
