Thai Delight is always a favorite! Their food is always great, plus it was my first date with my partner 4 years ago so it has a special place in my heart. Today is not about that. Today is not about how their dishes are consistently good across the board , or about how you get about 1000 lbs of food whenever you order a dish.
Today is about the story of how I got the basil fried rice.
I am a simple man. I like basil, and this had a ton of basil in it. I am happy.

So to be 100% transparent, I'm not a world traveler. I wouldn't know an AUTHENTIC Thai dish if one kicked me in the teeth. But I love the flavors at Thai Delight. I have for years.
However, I have some concerns. The first is honestly not a huge deal, but it's worth mentioning. I've ordered the same meal every time we've chosen you. Panang with chicken - spice #4. I honestly don't think I've RECEIVED the same dish twice. Peppers, no peppers, peanuts, no peanuts, lime, no lime, today there were actually gigantic pieces of potato. But the flavors? Spot on. But this second thing has me worried. Prices of everything are up, I get it. I understand businesses are all trying to figure out ways to "rearrange" costs to remain profitable, but dang!! Not an exaggeration to say that the portion sizes of both the rice and the chicken were close to half of what I've come to expect. Can I suggest adding a "large" option to get the usual portion at an inflated price? Might have just been a new guy or gal in the kitchen I guess, but I'm worried....

their food is so delicious and flavorful! even their fried rice and lo mein are way better than the standard takeout and their curry and drunken noodles are great. good portions. our new go to for Thai!

Thai Dumpling (8 Pieces) was very small and hard, not very flavorful.
Pad See-Ew I ordered mild and it was so spicy I could barely eat it.
Gyoza (6 Pieces) was cool and not hot or warm, with a good flavor, crispy.

Pad Thai was delicious, packed full, and Mexican Roll was exactly what I wanted!! Huge roll and sliced into actual bite size pieces!
Everything was great as always! 10/10
