Mac & Cheese was cold, bland, dry, barely any brisket. Coleslaw had pieces of cabbage stem and underdressed it was bitter tbh. Corn Salad was almost chewy also underdressed or just bland ingredients can't tell which. Baked Beans were fine I guess not bad not great, room temp at best surprisingly for beans. Burnt Ends were the only highlight, it's kinda pricey for the portion though, again room temp. I wasn't going to write a review because I had the pecan pie sitting in the fridge that would make everything fine but there was no whipped cream and it says it on the description so here we are South Block, I've eaten here say a dozen times since it first opened, had some really nice experiences, even the last time I ordered maybe 6-8 months ago, this was pretty underwhelming to say the least and I don't feel great about it.

The food was good, but they have become skimpy with the sauces that come with it. With $127 worth of food (before fees, tip & tax), I expect more than a single half filled tiny container of each sauce. They used to provide much more when I ordered 4 meat dishes.

Outstanding every time we order. Brisket and burnt ends are what my dreams are made of. And the pasta salad like come on.... I could bathe in that stuff and eat my way out the tub.
Do it. Spend the money and order from here already.

My boyfriend is a bbq snob, and really loves the food here. The 1/2 Pound Brisket is very soft with the outside bark, so soft he picked it up with his fingers and it fell apart, the Burnt Ends are very tasty, soft, tender and sweet, the Deep Fried Pickles were good on their own without dip, without shrivelling, Baked Beans was a nice and large portion, and very delicious, the Cornbread & Honey Butter was delicious and very slightly spicy because of the jalapeños in them, and nice and moist, and the Hush Puppies Honey Butter were absolutely delicious. We haven't tried the dessert yet, but we already want more!
