This is not for Canadian Chinese food (chicken balls, spare ribs, etc) eaters. The chinese writing on the wall for the menu items is telling. Their spring rolls are much better than egg rolls. We've tried different items that don't work, but what does work is the thai style cashew chicken and singapore stye vermicelli. They nail it every-time.

This was our first time ordering from modern orchid. We were very disappointed, the chicken balls were soggy, the ginger beef was soggy, the chow mein had a lot of garlic, which was odd, and the egg rolls had curry in them. We will not be ordering again.
The good: it was hot when it arrived and the flavour of the fried rice was ok.

This was my first time trying this place. I was disappointed in the flavour and texture of the General Tso Chicken. The chicken chow mein was also not as good as at other restaurants.

My go to for chinese food. Dinning in you get large portions but when you order takeout you get pretty small portions. That is the only area they need improvement.
