Always so delicious! Whenever im in the mood for soup I get their Matzoh Ball Soup and a Round Potato Knish, which are always super fresh and flavorful. Their Black and White Cookies are among the best I've ever had. Highly recommend!

2nd Avenue is the OG from childhood and it never disappoints. At some point I've probably tried everything on the menu and will always come back for more. Hands down the best chopped liver, Pastrami (Regular) - 1/4 LB & Hot Dogs are here. I love their Matzoh Ball Soup and order it by the quart. Long Live 2nd Avenue Deli!

Food was an expensive waste of money. Sliced Turkey at an amazing $48 a pound was so old and so tough you couldn't even chew it. Chicken in a Pot was absolutely tasteless. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time there have been food quality issues. I sincerely believe that old inferior overcooked ends of very expensive sliced meats are deliberately saved for delivery orders where the food can't be sent back. Buyer and Diners Beware!

Pastrami sandwich half the size it was. In this case, not a bad thing because it was inedible. Fatty, chewy grizzle. Couldn't bite through it. Cut incorrectly. Bottom bread saturated through. Missing the 2 extra slices of bread I ordered. One pickle was crushed as if stepped on.

The soup was super salty. I diluted it with some water and it was better.
Usually it's spot on. If I was at the restaurant I would have sent it back. Everything else was terrific especially the Square Potato Knish which was perfect
