It’s hard to believe that Honey Butter Fried Chicken came to fruition by accident, but this Avondale hotspot was actually dreamt up after some honey butter accidentally melted onto a piece of fried ch…
The MONTHLY SPECIAL - Fried Chicken BLT was delicious! And of course the Fried Chicken Nachos is my favorite every Thursday!! Oh and the MONTHLY SPECIAL - Peach Dumpcake is a MUST...yum!!

The Basket of Fried Chicken Strips was "meh" and the jalapeño mayo sauce was runny and not very tasteful. The MONTHLY SPECIAL - Mango Dump Cake was atrocious. It resembled nothing like what was pictured and described in the menu and seemed like it was scooped from a larger container into the takeout bowl & microwaved. It was cold on the inside and was the consistency of jello. This item was inedible, along with the watery whipped cream & I would not recommend this item, particularly if you are ordering it to be delivered. The only item I did enjoy was the Muffin Pack & Honey Butter. I will not order it again.

It's funny because we were looking for a good chicken and waffle place and saw this picture at Honey Butter of what had to be chicken and waffles but turned out to be chicken and corn bread! Where are the waffles? LOL. Food was expensive but very tasty, especially Sweet Chili BBQ Strips .

A bit pricey, but everything had great taste. I 👎 the Kale & Cabbage Slaw because the seeds on top threw off the taste for me. Also, be sure to ask for utensils. I was at a hotel, didn't get any. Luckily I travel a lot, so I had a plastic spoon in my bag.
