1/2 LB Chicken Fried Steak Platter was so good, no chewy parts, generous gravy included, on the side. Home fries  are cooked with fresh ingredients. Huck's Lemonade , the best!! All huge portion. Will order again, and try other options.

What I enjoyed about this restaurant was, first, how well everything was packaged. The highlight of the order was the Huck's Sweet Crepes. Although the crepes themselves were a little thick and just the crepe and the cream alone really didn't offer much, when you added all the toppings—the strawberries, the powdered sugar, and the syrup—it was an enjoyable bite. Now to the less successful things. All the savory dishes desperately needed salt. Desperately. The Dixieland Skillet, although I appreciated how tender the beef was, again, had no seasoning on anything. The Chicken Tenders meal was definitely not worth $20 or close to $20, more like $11, $12 tops. The chicken was dry and again, no seasoning. Now, the ranch side dip was what semi-saved the meal.  I probably wouldn't order from here again. If they got some flavor to their dishes, I think some of these could be a home run. Yeah, it just was a miss for me overall.

Huckleberry's specials are of great value. I chose Tom's Scramble that has chicken fried steak with scrambled eggs over biscuits with gravy. The potatoes were tasty. The portion size was so filling for me but perfect for my hubby! I would order again but I may try the other specials first.

Tom's Scramble is a whole lot of food. The chicken fried steak, bayou potatoes, and cream gravy are off the charts delicious.

A delight to eat. This was delicious, best chicken & waffles I've ever had. Sweet, Spicey, some heat, wonderful flavors. Waffles were light, I toasted to crisp up a bit more, chicken crispy - all well seasoned and packaged so well by restaurant. Try it!!
