After seeing my dentist in Elk Grove, I went to Joy City restaurant. The environment was clean with small and medium round tables for the customers. I was greeted immediately and given a menu. Spoiler elert! I purchased too much and still eating. The wor egg won ton was the best!! Chocked with won tons, bok choy and black mushrooms along with carrot strips. The both was packaged in another container. I love fish with black beans sauce, sesame balls with red beans in the center was my desert. Also the buns containing barbecue in the middle was some of the best I've ever had in Sacramento.
I recommend Joy City Restaurant for your dim sum needs along with other dishes. My only regret is that I didn't ask for chili oil.

These are my 3 go to dishes when I order from here. Spareribs with Salt and pepper 椒鹽骨, Eggplant w/Spicy Szechuan S CP 魚香茄子煲 and Beef ChowFun w/ Blk Bean Sauce 豉汁牛河. Food is always fresh. Large portions and the staff is always fast and friendly. There's a good reason that they are slammed on the weekends for dim sum.

The food was outstanding! Everything was well made and fresh. I especially loved their Cream Cheese Wontons (8) 芝士炸雲吞(8) . The rice was really tasty and the Chicken Chow Mein 雞球炒麵 had really good chicken and crunchy vegetables. We'll definitely be back!

Overall the flavor was pretty good. Baked BBQ Pork Bun (M) 焗叉燒包 (M) were a little small but taste and looked good. Braised Beef Brisket w/TenderGreenRice 菜心牛腩碟飯 is packed full of flavor I recommend it, but the brisket is tough maybe needs to cut different or cooked more. I'd like the brisket to melt in my mouth, but it's hard to get right. My favorite dish was the Kung Pao Kung Pao Chicken 宫保雞丁（午）with the BBQ Pork again the taste great maybe a little more chicken next time. Will come back.

I wasn't feeling very well and needed something hot and easy to eat, and this Preserved Egg w/ Pork Porridge 皮蛋瘦肉粥 (K) tastes great! I added some black pepper to it for a kick of spice. Packaged very well so none of the broth spilled :)
