I come to ID every few months from Oahu. Here's the thing... it's hard to find food that makes me feel like home. The poke and loco moco were Ono (tasty). The Manapua reminded me of going to golden dragon for dim sum. Big thank you to the cook and owners. I may have to come for a live visit when I come back. Thanks for reppin the 808.

Hula pot is hands down my favorite restaurant in town. The portions for the plate are massive so I always have a whole meal leftover for the next day. Definitely my go to place because the amount of food you get for the price doesn't compare, especially downtown. I've probably eaten there 8-10 times in a one month period

Disappointed with my order this evening. Everything was well packaged and delicious, however, the portion size for the Saimini was ridiculously small for the price. I've ordered via DD and eaten in before and haven't experienced that with Hula Pot, but will keep in mind for future orders. I had a $10 off coupon via DD from previous purchases- perhaps the portion was adjusted due to it.

Spicy Ramen was carefully packaged so it would not spill which was great, and the soup itself was absolutely delicious and packed with pork. The side of Macaroni Salad was extremely generous, as were both orders of Chicken Katsu. The Manapua were so soft and fresh, I wish we weren't just visiting so we could come more often!

Fantastic food, with a taste of authenticity! Macaroni salad is on point, as is the Musubi and BBQ Chicken. If only they had a plate lunch special that would bring back memories of Hawaii. Well done, Hula Pot, I will be a return customer for life!
