I can't say how much I LOVE the packaging! Everything comes in super stacked and organized packages. NOTHING will spill!
The Pineapple Fried Rice comes in generous portions! You won't finish it I promise you coming from a big eater.
I also got the Papaya Salad and Sticky Rice. Perfect as expected.
I got the eggrolls 10/10 comes with 6 worth the price compare to other places that only gives 4 for the same price? 🙄
I got the Half Roast Duck! 100/10
It was so good. Duck be getting expensive but so worth it. 😭
Oh and it's deboned and sliced in case yall wondering. I wish they had the option where I could just get the whole duck bone in and everything.
I got the Pho - 6/10
Pros: Generous portion
Cons: Broth flavor - debatable - not salty - no aromatics.

The egg noodle and wonton with bbq pork noodle soup was amazing. It came in a box with everything except the broth and wontons and I put it all in a bowl and it was perfect!! Great value for the price also!

This is the only place in Merced that has a good size and tasting spring roll! The peanut sauce is also yummy! 100% recommend!

First time trying this excellent restaurant. The noodle soup WOW, more than enough for 2 people and the fried rice with pineapple? It was wild it was so good. Was so used to ordering soup from other places I thought about ordering 2 due to they're always small. Not here thats for sure. 'm beyond impressed and will definitely be back!

Thai Star never disappoints! We ordered the vegetable Massaman Curry, pineapple fried rice with shrimp, spring rolls with peanut sauce, and coconut ice cream for dessert, and everything was absolutely delicious.
The Massaman Curry was rich, creamy, and packed with flavor, with perfectly cooked vegetables and just the right balance of sweetness and spice. The pineapple fried rice was loaded with shrimp and had a wonderful mix of savory and sweet flavors from the pineapple. The spring rolls were fresh, crispy, and paired perfectly with the flavorful peanut sauce.
To top it all off, the coconut ice cream was the perfect dessert—creamy, refreshing, and a great way to finish the meal.
The portions were generous, the food arrived fresh, and every dish tasted like it was made with care. If you're looking for authentic, flavorful Thai food in Merced, Thai Star is definitely worth a visit (or a DoorDash order!).
