The OATMEAL COOKIE was delicious! Soft, supple inside, nice crisp edges with good carmelization, just perfect. Has nuts & raisins, nicely spiced, but the delicate oatmeal flavor isn't overshadowed. Very nice!
The PEANUT BUTTER PIE is good, very rich. I am searching for one that reminds me of a childhood treat that is more on the dairy/creamy side & this doesn't quite scratch that itch, but it's yummy. Decent size piece, although I expected it to be comparable size to the apple, but both slices we got were a bit smaller.
The CARAMEL APPLE PIE is a stand out signature dessert, definitely worth treating yourself to some a la mode! Fresh apples still have nice firmness to them, not the turned-to-mush canned stuff. Someone cut these in the kitchen and seasoned them by hand for this pie, and that makes it wonderful! Not overly sweet and cloying, but decadent.
Desserts from Plaza Southside can make any evening into an occasion!

The salads we got were very tasty and flavor packed. However, for the amount you pay, the value doesn't compare. As you can see in this photo, you pay $5/6 for chicken and it's not even a full piece of chicken. Pictured is the gren Green Goddess salad with chick added.

The meal I received from your restaurant was the worst one I've ever received from your restaurant. I ordered over easy eggs and what I received were so hard they could have been hard boiled eggs which I hate hard boiled eggs. I received a penny's worth of hashbrowns. I paid over $20, which was probably worth $5. I was so disappointed.

The Pork Stew With Green Chile, leaving the side of green chile for another use, was just slightly adventurous for a Midwesterner. With the green chile added, I think it would please many folks who can take a little heat. It was comforting with celery, potatoes, and carrots. The Prickly Pear Lemonade is a bottled drink, but it's good, and hey, beverage markups make affordable entrees possible, right?
