This is hands down one of the best organic and clean restaurants around. Everything I've ever ordered is amazing. The beet cured smoked salmon is perfection. Highly recommend

i have never had a worse burger in my life. it went straight in the trash. my mom looooooved her grilled salmon on salad so i'm not simply gonna leave a negative review but i cannot emphasize strongly enough just how horrific that burger was. burgers are one of my favorite things in the world. this one? awful. disturbing. it's like a certain group of people decided they'd like to try cooking with spices and then completely ignored any advice they'd ever received and just slapped together an inedible combination and proceeded to charge $30 for it. the seven potatoes i got with it were decent, at least. $30 for 7 potatoes is practically a steal once i take into account the travesty of a burger that accompanied them. honestly, patrons should stick to juices and non-meat items here.

I don't recommend ordering the golden goddess salad with salmon for take-out. The salmon is like a brick, very overcooked. So disappointing, especially given how overpriced this salad is.

I've been a vegetarian my entire life and was excited to order from Parakeet, but the food and service was submarginal, at best. I ordered 2 meals to have something for dinner tomorrow night and a bunch of desserts and the hummus to share when I visit my son tomorrow. First, I ordered the Breakfast Sandwich, but received the chicken burger instead. This went right to the garbage as I don't eat chicken. I couldn't even eat the potatoes as theybwere in the same box as the chicken and juice from the chicken may have flowed onto the fries. I will get a refund, but my dinner for tomorrow is non-existent.
The other meal, the Chilaquiles was not very good. The chips were completely soggy. I had ordered the eggs over-easy, but the yolks were cooked through. I paid (quite a bit) extra to add beans, but there were hardly any present - I'd estimate less than 1/4 cup.
Since the two meals were inedible, I decided to eat the Hummus & Bread as a meal, but ended up not being able to eat it because it was spicy! I have eaten a lot of hummus in my life and it is NEVER spicy (unless labeled as such). This hummus burnt my tongue. Since spicy food unfortunately gives me heartburn, I was left with just the sourdough bread that came with it. Thankfully I had a few slices of cheese in the fridge for dinner

The Brazilian Bowl was extremely delicious. The only reason why I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because Parakeet Cafe for some reason charges over a dollar more for their bowls on Door Dash than they do in their store and on their website. Price of the bowl itself should stay the same since all the fees add up on this app.
