• 11/26/25Their teriyaki sauce is the best in Portland. And finally a place that knows how to cook rice. Soft and fluffy not hard and undercooked like most spots. I've been going to Du's since the 90s and it has only improved since.

• 9/10/25Du is a mythical wizard of culinary excellence. The chicken teriyaki has the perfect char. The sauces and salad dressing are so good and how do you beat some white rice to soak it all up.

• 8/24/22As a Seattle-born Portlander I was dying for some good teriyaki. A roommate of mine recommended this place. Flavor was excellent, nice char on the chicken and teriyaki sauce was good, a little sweet. Salad dressing is insanely good, won't knock a star off for it but they did package the salad with the warm chicken... bleck. Food was so good though I didn't mind!
