• 11/12/22Hands down some of the best food I've ever eaten! We love Kabab Shack and it's truly a hidden gem of Sugar Land! Their gyro meat is the best I've had and their eggplant is perfectly seasoned! Every time we have someone over we get kabab shack!

• 10/4/25The chicken kaboodeh is the best! Its tender and grilled to perfection. The eggplant and daal is also so delicious. There is always enough food for me to have two dinners. The quality of the food is superb!

• 8/1/25I originally ordered the chicken Kaboodeh plate but they were out of the kaboodeh so they substituted the chicken kabobs and I am very happy with that because it was delicious! I'll try it again another time. Although I love the chicken kaboodeh so much! They even threw in some free hummus and pita for the inconvenience. The Kabob Shack is an excellent restaurant with fresh healthy good food.

• 5/23/24I had the Chicken Koobideh Platter with white rice, dal, and eggplant with extra pita bread. It was hot and delicious! The eggplant was so good! The dal was delicious as well. The star of the plate was the Chicken Koobideh. It's got a delicious char-grilled taste that won't disappoint. It's tender and not overcooked. The white rice was perfectly seasoned and cooked too. I will be ordering again.

• 10/1/23Walking into this place, the delicious smell immediately told me I was in for a treat. The lamb kebab? Absolutely out of this world. Every bite was filled with amazing flavors, with the lamb cooked to tender perfection.
Now, let’s talk about that DAAL. It's a game-changer. It was packed with unique spices, setting it apart from any other I've tasted. I couldn't help but order extra to enjoy later at home.
A shoutout to Ali and his team for making me feel right at home on my first visit. They even let me sample their fantastic rice—I went with the brown, and it was a great choice.
Currently dipping my naan into the DAAL as I write this. If you're looking for top-notch Afghan food and friendly service, this is the spot. Can't wait to come back!
