The food is always excellent. I  love the Chicken Enchiladas Verde. The chips are always crisp and not greasy like other restaurants. The salsa is some of the best in town.

Pork Tamale and Chile Relleno Combo.  The rice and beans were good.  The chile relleno was good.  The chile was bright green, still had some crunch, heat and was probably prepared from fresh.  However the tamale was not good.  The pork was dry, the masa was tasteless, very thick and dry.  Fresh made tamales have a thin layer of masa, not a layer of wall paste. It left me with the distinct suspicion that it was a cheap commercial frozen product and not prepared by Rose Cafe.  I'm unlikely to order from Rose Cafe #2 again.

Tried at least 5 different rest just for Menudo Soup (Tripe) and none of them compare to this place not too spicy and just perfect

High prices, with few options to substitute items on meals. disappointed with the sides, the burritos all items were regrettably with small portions.  They also sent no utensil's, which were asked for. And the salsa was too hot.
