If you want small portions and high prices, look no further folks, this is the spot for you. I've been going here for a few years and getting the same thing - a The Classic Jaffle with bacon. The size of the thing is significantly smaller and guess what, one tiny strip of bacon and was charged $4 for it. The Chef Choice (Small Sammie) is not even 6". I remember when they were a decent size. Save your money. The $7 late is 8oz btw. Enjoy

I got the Baby Bear's Porridge via DoorDash and added bacon for $5. I received half a strip of bacon crumbled up on top. I usually give restaurants credit because it would probably be better all around if I had eaten the same dish there. To their credit the dish was flavorful and good but the bacon was an absolute joke. I never send anything back but if I had gotten this at the restaurant I would have asked for more bacon.

I Love the Ripper so much. It's the best. Nice people, great food, pretty atmosphere, its my fave. I grew up around the corner as a kid of the 70's. I shared the spot with my uncle who still lives in walking distance. Whenever I am in the area and can get over there it's no question! I order it delivered often as a treat for him as well- he loves it too. I couldn't believe the location - to have an amazing joint like this land here on this section of Verdugo is magic. The area has changed but funnily enough not changed over the years as a kid - such a sweet little community with the changes of the times too. I would have never dreamed something so awesome would be here. Super grateful.
