Really fresh and made with care. I love the little pea shoot (i think?) as the garnish on the rolls. Very accomodating for allergies!! Got the Yam Roll, Cucumber Roll, Veggie Roll, Agedashi Tofu and Miso Soup. I didn't get a picture of the miso since I drank it before I remembered to get pictures. I could drink litres of that stuff 😅

The food tastes good, but the price is so ridiculous. I've had sushi of comparable taste for less than half the price in Vancouver (I'm based out there). The price per portion is really not worth it in my opinion, but the taste was great. I definitely wouldn't fault the restaurant for that; they did a stupendous job on keeping a good standard there. Would I come back? If the portion size increases or the price decreases to its true retail value, then yes. The Wonton Soup - OO was alright and the Sunomono Ebi - OO was subpar.
The oshis were good with salmon Salmon Oshi - OO being the least flavourful compared to the Saba Miso Oshi - OO and Toro Oshi - OO. As well, the Real Crab Roll - OO was good.

My Sunomono Ebi - OO contained half a cherry tomato, some green leafy items, a very tiny half lemon wedge, 3 slices of shrimp & a small aount of noodles. Way too much liquid as youwill note from the photos. Ended up dumping the lliquid down the sink.

This was our first time ordering from Uni Modern. The food was very good and I would have left a much better rating, but for the fact that the sunomono salad leaked in the delivery bag. Not just a little leak. The bottom of the bag was soaked as well as out tempura which was soggy. The leak spilled out of the bag when we were removing the containers and it spilled all over our countertop. Quite the mess.
Aside from the initial disappointment though, we did find the food to be delicious, and would like to give the restaurant another try. Highly recommend the Bao Bao and the Takoyaki!

The Deep-Fried Gyoza - OO was lackluster, and the Agedashi Tofu - OO was mushy and bland. The Crazy Salmon Roll - OO roll was good so at least there was that, but that's still 1 for 3. For a 4.6 star rating, it really fell flat.
