• 1/9/25Everything was phenomenal and fresh! Bingsu was great value and large enough to split. The soybean powder was layered well throughout the ice for even flavor distribution and the milk-based ice makes it super creamy. Macarons were rich and flavorful. I would recommend Look Up Cafe to anyone!

• 3/3/25I absolutely LOVE their Reese's Peanut Butter Cake and Red Velvet Cake!!!! Satisfying in every way. Their cakes are moist and their frosting is delcious. Chef's Kiss! This business can take my money any day.

• 2/16/23Worth every penny. The peach boba smoothie was so creamy and very peachy. The macaron was fresh with a good foot and a delicious filling. Whoever baked it knows exactly what they're doing. And the Ube cake? So soft, and the whipped icing was decadent without being too much. The shaved ice is a very sizeable portion, the bowl barely fit my hand. Love, love, love this place!

• 10/13/25I ordered a slice of the Reese's Peanut Butter Cake Taro Cake and the Mocha Cake and had placed the ordered for pickup. Walking in, the shop was super cute and staff seemed very friendly. Cakes looked promising in the display windows!
I got home and opened the bag and could immediately tell that the texture was going to be off. Visually, the layers, especially the bottom-most layer, were vvvvery dense and squished-looking. I hoped that my eyes were deceiving me but unfortunately not. All three slices of cake were dense, rubbery/eggy in texture, and overbaked, with outer parts tasting almost burnt. Luckily my s/o is a vacuum and didn't want to waste food so he finished everything — he also agreed that the flavors were great but the texture of all three cakes was bad.
The portion sizes of the slices were good and the flavors were wonderful! But the actual bake for all three cakes was just not good at all. I might order again because the flavors were good and there are other flavors I'd like to try (like the matcha). I'm hoping it was just a bad batch this first time around.
