the shrimp was so good it was actually really fat and meaty and you're usually don't get that usually hardly any trip definitely will be ordering shrimp again. the fish Whiting was good as well falls apart in your hands so tender never disappointed when I order from the Johnsons I recommend everybody should try at least once

I remember the original Johnson fish Market. I was skeptical, but a few of my friends said they were good. So I decided to try them. I was very disappointed. 1) The Fish Sandwich , was a little too salty, they put the tarter sauce on the sandwich, with tomatoes, and a sesame seed bun. problem, I don't eat seeds, tomatoes, I would have preferred to put on my own tartar sauce.
2) Lima Bean , I'm a soup lover and I really wanted to try the soup. Another let down, they did not say what was in the soup. Pork neck bones, and the taste was weird, so I poured the soup in my pot and added chicken bullion and let it cook a little more, no it still tasted weird, I ended throwing it out.
3) Hush Puppies (7 Pieces) , I love hushpuppies, the hushpuppies wasn't right, again very disappointing. They tasted more like cornbread, no taste of onions, they weren't crispy
4) The Peach Cobbler, it wasn't homemade, so after all the disappointments, I put it in my refrigerator.
Not going back $31.

For 4.50 this is an EXTREMELY small piece of carrot cake that's mostly icing.

the food is amazing I could eat it every day cannot wait till they open the one in East Hartford everyone needs to try this restaurant you get so much for what you pay for always nice and hot

ive been coming here as a child and this place never fails to disappoint. i usually get the porgie but i tried the Lima Bean and Chillidog for the first time and it was great. this place deserves more recognition.
