Love me some Chilango! I've enjoyed everything I've ordered here, but I find myself often craving the Hamburguesa...yes, one of my favorite things at a Mexican place is a burger! It's legit. Think gourmet Big Mac. When it's fresh and hot, it practically melts in your mouth. I also love their chips + queso. The chips themselves have wonderful flavor, and they give you a ton, which is awesome (all portions are solid). The queso is amazing, with just the right amount of roasted chilies. My favorite side is the Papas Machas...so many elements come together perfectly. It's salty, spicy + herbaceous with just a touch of sweetness from a drizzle of honey. My husband's go-to meal is the Camarones al Diablo with Rajas y Cebollas , Achiote Rice, Flour Tortillas + charro beans on the side. It usually makes for 2 full servings, so he always has lunch the next day. I often steal the beans on day 2 and use them as a dip along with the rest of the queso for the leftover tortilla chips. I cannot believe I didn't hear about Chilango until I came across an article a week or so ago about Chef Jorge Guzmán leaving! One of my favorite meals since arriving in Mpls almost 4 years ago was a birthday dinner at Petit Leon so I had to get an order in at Chilango before it's upcoming rebrand. Equally SO happy I did and SO bummed I won't get another chance. Such a lovely meal!

I normally love Chilango and I have eaten here a lot.
Today I ordered fish tacos, chips and guac and beans. When the order arrived the tacos were missing and the chips for the guac were so hard and stale I could barely chew them.
I paid for fees and delivery charges and a tip and have barely any dinner :(( I'm disappointed.
