• 12/27/25This is the best chicken place in Hickory now, by a mile (East Coast Wings) has gone way downhill and their max spice level being X-hot now is just sad). The menu isn't huge because everything they do (I've tried it all), they do very well. The prices are also really good. Do yourself a favor and try it out. You won't want to go anywhere else in the city for chicken, unless you need a whole one.

• 6/20/26I was excited to give a place really close to me a try and unfortunately it just wasn't that great. Fries were rock hard and difficult to chew and the chicken fingers were cut against the grain in such a way that they had a challenging mouthfeel.
I will not be ordering again but I at least got the combo at a discount, so it wasn't a huge loss.
The lemonade was good at least.

• 8/27/25My fiance loves Hangry Joe's. The company he works for had Hangry Joe's cater an event recently. The Jr. Sando I ordered was full of flavor but I found it a bit greasy for my taste. I had the no heat option. My son had the original Sando with no heat as well. He thought it was greasy as well. The portions were large compared to other chicken restaurants.
My fiance loved everything he had which was the Sando and the Loaded Fries.
I am sure the reason we thought the food was greasy was because we are on a high protein and low carb diet. We are not used to fried foods. So to most people, I think they would love it. I would order from here again but it would be occasionally. My son and I would use it as a treat if we had been doing well on our diet. All in all, it was a great experience. Just be aware, it is a bit pricey but worth it!

• 8/19/26Ordered 6pc Boneless tried the spicy soy garlic and spicy smoky bbq and both sauces were extremely flavorful and chicken was nice and crispy. Highly recommend
