I'm a retired chef so I'm not easy to please. I've been purchasing tamales from Josefina's or a couple of years so it was no surprise to me when I ordered Friday's empanada special that it was outstanding. It's not easy to deliver a fried product and have it remain crisp, but she took the extra steps to accomplish it. Just like she takes the extra steps to produce outstanding authentic Mexican cuisine daily.

very excellent and tasty The rice was cooked to perfection and the red 16 oz red salsa was the best. Definitely a Frida Favorite.

Definitely some of the worst tamales I've had. The asado which is not what I ordered arrived in terrible condition and it was also not good- they need a better package. The jalapeño and cheese tamales had no jalapeño or cheese they were just beans. I would not order again.
