Been looking for another fillipino restaurant, as the two I always chose are temporarily closed in the city. So this one popped up in the searches, and the high rating immediately drew me in. The menu isn't as large as the previous restaurants, but it had some new options I haven't seen before. I ordered the Tosilog, which is marinated sliced pork, garlic rice, and an egg. I also ordered the Cheese Fries with Fire Sauce. The Sliced Pork was so tender and flavorful, and add it with that gralic rice, which is a staple for any fillipino dish, was bursting with flavor. The egg was a nice added bonus, with the running yolk, delicious. The Cheese fries very pretty good, the cheese powder wasn't overpowering and added a nice added taste. The fire sauce had a light flavor, almost like ketchup and mayo combined, but added nicely to the fries. I can't wait to try more of the menu in the future, and this may become my go to spot for Fillipino food.

Love ordering the Puto Bumbong w/ cheese at Meryendang Pinoy. This is the best we ever have. Make sure to try their other dishes, they deserve high rating for the quality and great service!

Unfortunately the portion size of the Tosilog keeps getting smaller and price is same.
