My first time trying this Mexican Restaurant & now it's my FAVORITE! There Carne Asada Burritos are TOP-NOTCH!! Fresh High Quality Seasoned Meat & Fresh Salsa!!! Very FLAVORFUL & DELICIOUS!!!! GREAT PRICE!!!!!

Surf & Turf Burrito was as I asked for as I like it as hot as it can be and they put the hottest sauce in it and the Horchata is the perfect drink to pair with the Surf & Turf Burrito. The size is great, got to me quickly and was hot and fresh. I will be ordering this again.

The food from Colimas is generally some of the best in East San Diego, but I wasn't impressed by the Carne Asada fries. Though they gave you plenty of Asada, it wasn't very well seasoned and tasted plain. There was little guacamole and nothing to really moisten the fries. So, you just end up with a glob of dry cheese fries with no flavor. Hard pass on the Carne Asada fries from me.

Was disappointed in the chicken #15 Chimichanga. Barely any chicken in it 80% beans and barely any sour cream or guac... My Carne Asada Chips were the same. Barely any guac, cheese and pico. Won't be ordering from here again.

I asked for the fries on the side to keep them from being soggy but the ignored my request and they were soggy upon arrival. I usually like this place and have ordered from here several times before but this time the food was very disappointing and didnt taste fresh either. The portion was HUGE but didnt make up for the disappointing taste of the meal and it was 75% fries and cheese.
