Got the Double Char Burger on Sesame Bun (1/2 Lb) they made it just as requested and it's delicious
French fries are great no salt they provide salt packets to season to your taste appreciate that when most places give old bottom of the pan fries covered in multiple batches salt

This was my 2nd time trying and it was just ok today. Cooked well and really nice portion sizes on the sides. French Fries lacked salt and some were a tad hard. Onion Rings were cool - the breaded kind vs battered. The Turkey Burger was cooked well and put together nicely but the taste was just ok and a bit odd to me today

I’ve been eating at John’s Char Burger since I was a kid with my family, and it still hits every single time. The food is always so good and honestly, it’s the only burger I’ll eat in Livermore!
Pro tip: if you like your fries crispy, ask for them well done… sooo worth it 🤤🍟

Love Johns Char Burgers! Best burgers in Livermore. Been going here since the early 2000s! The young blonde girl who gave me my food was really rude tho. She could work on better customer service. Will still come back for the great food.

So disappointing, our fries came raw. Nothing worse than getting cold fries but raw and greasy, super bad.
Their fries were always one of the main reasons we went there.
No way it did not get noticed.
