Everything I have eaten from this restaurant is fantastic and the prices are very reasonable. The portions are generous and the staff is friendly. North Carolina is fortunate to have such wonderful southern barbecue.

Heard so many good things about this place, but this is easily the worst bbq I've ever had. It was really wet, really sweet, but also really mild at the same time. The hushpuppies were also awful. Krinkle cut fries are never good at any restaurant. At least the peach cobbler was good. Like really good. Cookout kind of blows this of the water. It's also cheaper.

Chili Cheese Hot Dog were really tasty sweeter chili which is right up my alley,, enjoyed the baked beans too which were a little sweet which again I like and fries were great. Very happy with my food.

I normally love Stamey's food but today the fries were soggy and partially burned and the sandwich was dry with too little slaw. The Cheerwine was excellent however. Perhaps the food quality has something to do with the July 4th holiday crowd.

The Chopped Pork Barbecue Plate was delicious. The pork had great flavor and was very moist. The red slaw was some of best I've ever tasted.
The Peach Cobbler was wonderful.
