• 1/15/25The poke was perfect! The generous portion of fresh fish, sauce, and rice was so good. Just got back from my first ever trip to Hawaii and this for sure helped make the return to the daily grind that much easier. :) Mahalo!

• 7/15/26Okay so the Side of Mac wasn't my cup of tea, HOWEVER. The 4. Short Ribs were so good my soul left my body and ascended to a higher plane of existence, where I was kissed on the forehead by the bbq gods and sent back to Earth to enjoy the food.
The sauce is incredible, the rice is cooked right, and the amount of meat is generous. The portion is large but not overwhelming, and there's enough for me to eat the rest for lunch tomorrow. And that Side of teriyaki sauce was absolutely fantastic.
It goes without saying that I will be ordering again in the future.

• 11/22/25This is one of my favorite places to eat in Astoria. The poke and chicken teriyaki are both really good, the rice is perfectly cooked, and the portions and quality make it one of the best values in town.
I prefer to eat there because I like the people, but when I I have it delivered it arrives just as good as the eating at the cart.

• 3/14/25I was really excited to try this as we don't have many Hawaiian options on the north coast. the 2. Kalua Pig doesn't come with any sauce not very flavorful, the Side of Mac isn't sweet at all like all the other Hawaiian macs I've ever had were. the Side of teriyaki sauce is not very sweet either and it's runny seems mostly like soy sauce with a little sugar or something. I'm starving so I ate it but I'm not super blown away like most people are about this place. i didnt even get a fork....off day maybe? Hawaiian sun was really good I've never had that drink before. I will say the portions are enough for two meals. so atleast there's that.

• 6/12/26I ordered the thin-sliced beef teriyaki, but the beef was not thinly sliced at all and much of the meat was burnt. I’ve eaten Hawaiian food for years, so I’m familiar with what to expect. Unfortunately, the mac salad also didn’t taste right it seemed stale or off and didn’t have the flavor or texture of a typical mac salad. Overall, I was very disappointed with the quality of the meal.
