This place is phenomenal! The Brisket tastes just like the South. So smoky and tender. Chicken was amazing, and the sides! The collard greens, Mac n cheese and grannys ptatoes were so good. So gladthey have a Lafa loc

First time trying this place out and was not impressed at all. I know bbq and know meat is not cheap, but nearly $60 for just 3 ribs, 1 slice of brisket, a hand of pulled pork, and two sides is crazy. The ribs were good, brisket was dry. The pull pork was decent. The potato salad was mediocre. The best thing out of the whole order surprisingly was the pit beans.

I really dislike doing this, however, the cost of the beef ribs is OUTRAGEOUS! They advertise about 1.5 lbs total weight for around $46 - high still, but okay lets see. However, when this was delivered, it was 2 bones that I weighed, and it was 10.5 ounces!! Meaning, they advertised for it being around a pound and a half, yet it was 10.5 OUNCES for $46 dollars... Absolute robbery. Which is unfortunate because it detracts from how good the food is. Great tasting BBQ overall, but my goodness this has to change. Just because ths is the Bay Area does not give everyone a free pass to overcharge.

Our two sandwiches (Brisket Sandwich and pulled pork) came unassembled with the two different meats just mixed together loose in the same box. Also the brioche buns were the size of small dinner rolls. They also just silently removed the mac and Mac & Cheese from our order, with no communication. There was also no BBQ sauce at all. All around a disappointing experience. having been to Horny BBQ and Mattie's horn bbq after the original burned down, this felt like a ghost kitchen approximation of horn bbq.

First and last order. Worst ribs and beans we have had in years. Ribs were extremely tough with little meat. Beans were swimming in black molasses. Hard to be this bad.
