Fried chicken was delicious and crispy and juicy. The candied yams are out of this world good. The collard greens are good, not my favorite ive ever had but im also used to ones with hamhock and not turkey. I think since I ordered late they were out of biscuits but they replaced it with a side of mac and cheese (and extra chicken) which I am certainly not upset about lol. The mac and cheese was very yummy and felt almost decadent. The fried green tomatoes were amazing, not sure why they put all the toppings on it but it was pretty. The dip was bomb. Fried green tomatoes did get a little less crispy from being in the takeaway container but they were still tasty. Wish they had their koolaids to go also. Will definitely order from here again.

Taste was just ok. It was fresh. The waffle and cinnamon butter saved the order. It was supposed to be 2 SMALL WINGS. Instead I received 1 undercooked, rubbery LARGE WING that looked like a small turkey!! Invest in smaller wings!! Everyone doesn't like horse wings!! I would not order again.

The chicken was fantastic! Well seasoned and very juicy! The Fried Green Tomatoes were very good but kind of pricey for the amount they give you.

The amount of food I received for $50 is insane. "Additional chicken" is $6 FOR ONE PIECE OF CHICKEN! For a catfish meal, you get one Fried Fish and Fritters meal is 1 piece of fish for $27! I just don't like the portion size at all for the cost

Our first experience with Fixins. We ordered Smothered Porkchop, smothered Chicken , collard greens, Mac N Cheese , yams and Large Cornbread. We placed a carry out order when we were in the area. Food smelled delicious all the way home, Pontiac. When we finally got to enjoy it did not disappoint. Food was still hot, not overly salty.everything complimented each other. Cornbread was moist. Mac was excellent!! Even the next day leftovers were just as good. I put my cornbread in the fridge by mistake.....after a little heat, it was still moist . Portions were reasonably sized. We were very happy with our meals. I'm sure we will be back.
